Get Involved
We believe that church is a community of believers living life together.
Tips for visiting on a Sunday!
We know visiting a church is really tough and somewhat uncomfortable! so, here are a few tips for you before you visit (and hopefully this information helps make you more comfortable!):
- We are pretty casual, so wear normal clothes. No need to dress up–our pastors preach in jeans and a button-up shirt, sometimes a t-shirt.
- We mostly preach out of the ESV or CSB translation of the Bible, but a lot of people bring whatever translation Bible they have. We don’t have a set version of the Bible that we require!
- Our music is a mixture of some familiar hymns and new songs.
- Our church is pretty small right now. We’ve been in the process of rebuilding/revitalizing it over the past 5 years. We’ve changed names, renovated the property, and have been more involved in the community since then.
- We have a TON of kids–meaning we’re used to noisy kids and fussy babies. In fact, we love it! We also dismiss the kids for kids’ church mid-way through the service and have a nursery for the whole length of the service for the littlest ones. We also have a nursing mothers’ room where you can sit and watch the service in a quiet environment.
- Enter through the front double doors of the church, and you’ll be greeted with a friendly smile and a chance to grab some coffee. We also have a table at the front with extra Bibles (which you can have!) and other good books/resources.
- Sit wherever you’d like, and enjoy!

Kids Ministry
We believe the best discipleship for kids comes from you, the parent. We, as a church, are here to help you as you raise your kids in godliness. We have a nursery available every Sunday for kids under 2 years old. If you’d like, we have a children’s church for your children, which dismisses midway through our service.
We look forward to a lot of fun activities as we approach the late Fall and Winter! Look for us at Winterfest, and tons of fun kids activities!

Frequently Asked Questions
What time is your Sunday service?
We offer one service on Sunday mornings at 10:30 am. We hold Sunday school/Bible Study classes at 9:15 am.
What should I wear?
Something comfortable. Most of us dress casually, but if you’re more comfortable in a coat and tie, please wear that! Our pastor will preach in anything from a t-shirt and jeans to a button-up with a tie!
What happens during a Sunday morning service?
Our services are relaxed and the atmosphere is friendly and informal. The music is contemporary but we also enjoy the great hymns of the faith. Our preaching is directly from the Word of God. And our purpose is always the glorification of God. Whether or not you consider yourself a follower of Christ, we hope you will feel right at home!
Are you involved in missions?
Yes! Because of the gospel’s impact on us, we are eager to share that good news with the world around us. We support missionaries through the SBC’s cooperative program and give to dedicated missionaries. We also participate in mission trips as a church.
Where do I go when I get there?
When you arrive, enter through the front doors where you will find the sanctuary, bible study rooms, and restrooms. People will greet you and help you as you enter!
What about my children?
In addition to our service in the sanctuary, we provide children’s church for children up through third grade. Your children will enjoy learning about God in a fun atmosphere we call the “Kids Village.” We dismiss our children’s church midway through the service. We also offer nursery throughout all of Sunday school and kids’ church for children 2 years old and under.
Do you meet at other times throughout the week?
Yes! We offer community groups, service opportunities, and other Bible studies. Please see our calendar for what’s going on!
Can I listen to messages online?
Yes! You can watch many of our Sunday messages here on our website or on our mobile app.
Do you have a mobile app?
We do! Download our app from the Apple App Store or Google Play Store. You’ll have access to the most important ways to participate in church life, including past sermons, upcoming events, giving, and more. Download Our App

Be a Part of Making a Change
Christ commands us to “Go therefore and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit.” We seek to accomplish this by creating a community of authentic believers who desire to see a community transformed by the life-changing reality of the gospel, as people come to know Jesus as their Lord and Savior.
Why Give Online?
God is generous and so he calls us to be as well. What we do with what God has given us shows the world where our hearts are at The Village Church and helps proclaim the gospel. We want to glorify God in every area of our lives, and that includes what we do with our finances. Giving online is an easy way to help advance the Gospel in our city.
